Greg Swanson led a group of nine people around the Howard Christensen Nature Center this morning recording 44 bird species (click here for compete list) including Acadian Flycatcher.
.
Greg, Janet Helmer, John Walhout and others interested in plants would like an identification of this species if any of you know:

Be aware that Howard Christensen is home to several non-native species planted by previous owners. To see the plant up close and personal, click the photo and then click the enlarged photo. Please post your comments here or send an email to Ric: oakridge35@yahoo.com

Don Avery who accompanied us on the field trip writes: "As for the plant identification, I spoke with Greg during the walk that I believe the plant is a wisteria ... to me, the leaf shape is consistent. The photographed plant looks very similar to the off-shoot wisteria plants we've had in the front yard (give me a couple weeks, we'll have more!). I'm not a botanist, but it would be my starting point for identification if I were."
Looks like a "Tree of Heaven" introduced from China.
Thanks! I recall someone later in the morning on this fieldtrip pointing out a large Tree of Heaven on the opposite side of a creek from where we were walking.
