Owl Up Close and Eagle Action

A couple Snowy Owls from the Wastewater Wednesday.  I guess if you're going to live in the Arctic, it's good to have insulated eyelids!

This immature Bald Eagle didn't like sharing airspace with a Snowy Owl and chased him all around the east lagoon.

    Thanks for sharing these pictures! These are awesome! And I hope to get out to the WW soon to see the Snowy Owls! They better not be going anywhere!

    Incredible work Don. I know it would have been incredible to capture the eagle grabbing the owl but I am glad that he missed this time.
