Here are some photos of the baby Pileated Woodpeckers that are still in the nest in our backyard. Today is the first day we have seen the young ones. They both look like males and they are pretty vocal. I took a video of the male feeding one of the young ones.

I was just going to give the same compliment as Don just did. It's got to be fun to see that every day, and be able to say "Honey, could you bring me out a Coke?" while your on your little nature trip (in the back yard);)

Wood ducks! Pileated Woodpeckers! I'm jealous, but thanks for sharing these photos and the video! Really cool!
I am glad that you enjoyed them Jeff. Mike, sorry, it would have worked the other way around. My wife was glued to the nest when ever she could be. She let me get a good location for photos a couple of times though!
