I spotted either a pair of tundra or trumpeter swans in the west lagoon just west of the central dike road along with a snow goose just east of the central dike road with a group of Canada geese. - Casey Irwin
In my reply to Casey I mentioned some reasons why I thought Tundra rather than Trumpeter (more likely, especially this time of year, curvy rather than straight line where beak meets feathers at side of face and possibly even a little yellow on the bill in front of the eye). But I certainly don't know and would appreciate comments from others, especially if they go out and see those birds. Thanks!
