Casey, seems so. I just checked eBird and there's only been one other reported in December at the Wastewater in the last ten years.
Thurs. Dec. 4 10:35 a.m. to Mich-Chat: "A very late Eared Grebe is in the southeast corner of the west lagoon at Muskegon Wastewater right now." -Steve Santner
