Email to Ric:Some delayed reports. On the 13th of May I saw 3 Black Terns hunting the Causeway pond and stopped to observe them. I thought I would see black terns again on other days but have yet to chance upon any there.
Wastewater shorebirds on May 27th: 5 Semipalmated Sandpipers and 13 Dunlin along the north shore of the West Lagoon; three Upland Sandpipers, one on the ditch bank opposite the second most western aerator and another along Swanson north, a third along Laketon west; plus Spotted Sandpipers and Killdeer, one pair with 3 young.
