Banded Herring Gull
Good day at the Grand Haven North Pier: I had 4 Bald Eagles, 10 Great Black-backed Gulls, 2 Glaucous Gulls, 70 Herring Gulls, 20 Ring-billed Gulls, 1 American Black Duck, 13 Mallards and 4 American Crows.

Birds just like to show off for your camera, Charlie. Jan. 2 at the Wastewater, Jan. 4 at Grand Haven -- tomorrow, who knows? Seriously, I heard that the Mona Lake Bald Eagles got banded last year. Maybe this banded bird is one of those?
I tried to read the numbers on the band but didn't have any luck
