November 6 Emails:
A quick ride thru the Wastewater revealed a couple surprises today: Snow Buntings and Snow Goose. I also saw one of the two leucistic or dilute plumage Northern Shovelers in the east pond. The Snow Buntings were on the center dyke and the Snow Goose was among the Canada Geese in the east pond. Pictures attached. The goose was way out in the middle so had trouble with reach.

Just saw a flock of 11 Evening Grosbeaks take off at Harbor Island from the small gravel piles near the soccer field where the Snow Buntings were last week. They flew northeast. Hope someone can find them!
