Wednesday Birds Include a Pheasant!

Two Dec. 21 Emails:

Karl Overman and I saw 7 Purple Sandpipers along the south breakwall in Muskegon this morning.  Five were near the lighthouse and two were along the south side of the breakwall very close to shore.  I was able to get some good photos of these which are on my flickr site.

We also saw a probable Surf Scoter and a Common Loon there.
Later we saw a Snowy Owl and two Glaucous Gulls at the Muskegon Wastewater.

Big fan of your website. Today at 2:00 p.m. was lucky enough to see this female Ring-necked Pheasant by the parking lot at Snug Harbor.
