I felt terrible for this owl. I accidentally spooked it on the pier, and then found out it had just been freed from a fisher's line. After being spooked, it was chased off the pier by a flock of gulls. When I refound it here, it was soon chased off, harassed by a flock of crows. I hope it's doing all right...

I think Phil hit the birds before they all got antsy and moved north. I didn't have a think pretty much in all Muskegon yesterday.
