After consulting Sibley, I posted both of Carol's grebes as "Horned" even though the plumage of the left bird might look a little "ear-y". I'll leave my reasons for if anyone objects, and would like to hear from anyone with better grebe-ID-ing skills than mine (i.e., almost anyone).
