Three Sunday Photos of Golden Eagle

.
I followed the Golden Eagles at the Wastewater for about an hour Sunday morning (Jan. 2) and finally one landed as the sun came out for a few seconds.

Don, can I inquire as to the lens you are using to get picts like this? They are really great pictures, well focused, great lighting and so close-up.

Great shots Don, -- I'm just going to wait for a clear day, fill my cappuchino, bring some snacks, and hopefully alot of patients! At least I got a few shots, so the (self inflicted) pressure is off. :)

I meant patience --- jeez, could you imagine the type of "patients" I would bring? LOL

I just use the camera in my phone to take these. The secret is to be very close. Actually I use a Nikon f/4 600mm alone and with a 1.4 teleconverter. Just depends how much your willing to spend on your hobby.
