Bruce Delemarter sends us these three photos taken at 8:35 this morning (Sunday 10/10/10) of the odd-looking geese on the East Lagoon at Wastewater (see below Charlie DeWitt's post and photos from Friday). Does anyone know what kind of geese these are?

Adam Byrne and I saw those birds and felt they were some kind of very strange mongrel geese, presumably involving domesticated ducks or geese since they were much larger than Canadas.
