Trouble Is, It's in the U.P.

Yesterday I emailed Charlie DeWitt about another matter and in his reply he mentioned he was in the U.P. and sent along this Pine Grosbeak* photo, perhaps to prove it.

Meanwhile, Don Avery emailed that on Saturday at Pere Marquette there were a number of Long-tailed Ducks mixed with Common and Red-breasted Mergansers, Buffleheads and Common Goldeneyes.  He also saw a single Blue-winged Teal and a White-winged Scoter.
