Ross's Goose at Wastewater

.
March 1 Email:

Ric,

I saw this goose that I believe to be a Ross's and 3 Killdeer at the Wastewater today.  The goose was in with a large flock of Canada Geese and the Killdeer were in the dry overflow ponds near where all the geese are hanging out.  The Ross's was hard to find as there are also a bunch of gulls hanging out in the same area.

Rick,
Comparing your bird with Sibley's drawings (pg. 79) I'd also think it's some form of Ross's, but whether it's pure or a Ross's x Snow Goose hybrid I'll leave to the experts. Thanks to any top-gun birders for weighing in on this bird. Great pics, Rick!
