Eagles and Buntings at Wastewater

.
I made it back to the Wastewater Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 8) and saw both Golden Eagles, the one below leaving a power pole near the Administration Building north side of White Road.  The Snow Buntings were near the grain elevator along Swanson north of White.  I also want to let Mike V. know that I saw six different Bald Eagles, none with bands.  A couple even looked for me!

Nice shots Don,
Especially the pair on the ice -- the Sun was in a perfect spot to catch the details. There's alot of winter left, so I think someone will shoot the banded pair at some point -- I just hope it's not charlie! :) He burned me with the pictures of the Golden's last year after I went out 3 times with not one shot -- then he further humilliated me by "plastering" his sub-par Wallgreens developed photo's all over the Blog site! GRRR! He has no shame :)
