. The following five pictures were all taken yesterday (Dec. 22) within 100 yards of the Administration entrance at the Wastewater: young Red-tailed Hawk, female American Kestrel (with lunch) and Merlin.

Don, Great shots -- especially the Merlin, they're hard to catch in a shooting opportunity. And apparently (guessing by the color/size) it wasn't a good day to be a Chickadee, though the Kestrel would argue the point. You should have offered some Salt -- he probably would have turned around for you. :) nice job Grasshoppa
